Nick Quijano was born in New York, and resides in old San Juan of Puerto Rico. In 1970, he graduated in arts with several honors in the University of Puerto Rico while he completed his studies of architecture and design. In 1979 he dedicated his life to the painting, and in 1980 Nick presented/displayed his first individual exhibition of drawings and watercolors. Two of his more famous exhibitions were Caribbean Cornucopia and Creole Bodegón, they were presented/displayed simultaneously in 1993 in the Museum of the Americas and the San Juan Gallery Baptist.
